The importance of self confidence
The most important thing one can have is self confidence. It affects your evolution of your abilities and values. It also plays an important role in controlling your happiness in life.
Self confidence lets you take risks. When you have enough confidence in your own abilities, you can be sure that when you face a problem you can solve it easily.
The level of self confidence you have is also important. If you don’t have enough self confidence you won’t take any risk and if you have self overconfidence you won’t try as much as you really have to, so you lose.
Self confidence should be built based on the realities and your wishes and aims. A good self confidence should be based on pragmatic expectation that you have of success and true recognition of personal abilities but when you have some weaknesses, the fear of losing concentration and destructive thought make you upset and you blame yourself for the entire mistake. Here you should use recommendations, imaginations and aims to increase your self confidence.
On the other hand self over-confidence is also destructive. It can lead you to situations that you won’t be able to get rid of them or it may cause some failures which can ruin the self confidence that you were supposed to have. The false self confidence can be made because of parent’s fallacious guide or inappropriate courage of friends and teachers without having a logical understanding and recognition of personal abilities.
Now there is a question, how setting goals can help you make your self confidence? Setting goals can be considered as an effective way for gaining self confidence. By recognizing the achievable goals, you will prove your abilities to yourself. By knowing the fact that you have the potential to reach goals and aims, you won’t be shocked from probable failures. And you’ll have precise evolution of your abilities.
How imagination, positive thoughts and recommendation will help you with your self confidence? Imagination is useful in making self confidence, but it should be utilized properly. Psychologists have been encouraging people toward it for years. By this way you can fight with negative thoughts and by defeating the destructive thoughts, you can find better solutions for a single problem. When you become aware of your negative thoughts, think about them and see whether they are based on reality or not? When you are fighting with destructive thoughts, you will understand that most of them are driven from unreal imagination so they will be solved themselves.
