According to stats, two out of ten people are addicted to alcohol in different countries all around the world. There are approximately 18 million alcoholics in united state and Canada. Alcoholism is a worldwide issue and not only causing problems for the drinker but for everyone who is connected with the person as well.

Alcoholism is a disease in which a person craves and desires alcohol. It is impossible to limit his or her drinking. They need to drink more to get the same effect, and they have withdrawal symptoms after stopping alcohol use. It also affects physical and mental health.

Of course prevention of alcoholism is the best way for treatment and even the chronic alcoholism can be treated successfully. There are many schools that use different methods to cure the alcoholism.
