Meditation and stress reduction
Meditation is an ancient practice and is a state in which the mind is free of thoughts. Or It is a discipline in which the mind is focused on only an object at all. In all religions we can find the importance of meditation. Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism, Taoism, etc.
Meditation itself is divided into two segments: mindfulness meditation and concentration meditation. In mindfulness meditation the meditator sits comfortably and silently and focuses on an object or process. Concentration meditation is mentioned in most religions and spiritual practices.
In Christian type of meditation the meditator should think on a topic. Hinduism meditation is done by repetition of mantras. Buddhism meditation is done by concentrating on breathing. Continue…
